The Church of New Grace at 25 North Urumqi Road is a branch of the Grace Memorial Church. It was originally a public church of non-mainstream sects built by foreigners. Formerly called “Church of All Nations”, it was renamed “Church of New Grace” in 1962. In the Great Cultural Revolution, the church was occupied and used for other purposes. After the restart of religious activities, the church holds “breaking of bread” meetings and services in Cantonese on Sunday afternoons in addition to the gatherings on the mornings.
