Recently, the Center held a series of fascinating activities regarding the experience of cloisonne enamel making, parent-child tie-dyeing skills, and massage SPA at noon. These colorful activities garnered enthusiastic participation from numerous residents.

Elderly friends showcase the charm of intangible cultural heritage with their skillful hands

In the activity of cloisonne enamel making, the teacher explained the production principles and key techniques in simple terms, placing special emphasis on the crucial filigree work. Everyone listened carefully and operated the making process personally. They used fine and soft metal wires to elaborately pinch lines following the design patterns, creating a three-dimensional and exquisite ornamental framework. Subsequently, after coloring with colored sand, the artworks presented intricate layers alongside a natural transitional gradient effect, which captivated people’s attention.

With the collective effort of all involved, the exquisite cloisonne enamel artworks truly shone. These artworks not only showcased the skills and wisdom of elderly friends but also carried forward the essence of intangible cultural heritage.

Parents and children engage together to appreciate the tie-dyeing art

In addition to cloisonne enamel making, the Center also carried out a parent-child tie-dyeing activity focusing on the theme of “clothes”.

In the activity, the teacher introduced the history and practice of the tie-dyeing craft and guided all participants to conduct hands-on experience. Through ingenious folding, binding, and different layers of dyeing, the plain white fabric was masterfully transformed into colorful artworks.

The activity was imbued with a lively and joyous atmosphere, providing parents and children with a profound sense of accomplishment and cherished moments of family time.

Noon massage SPA ensures white-collar workers’ health

To address the issue of discomfort among white-collar workers caused by their sedentary work habits, professional Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) massagists came to the Center to provide them with an interactive and practical massage experience aimed at health preservation. This activity also further carried forward the traditional TCM culture.

Through professional massage techniques and acupressure skills, the massagists helped participants regulate liver function and alleviate emotional fluctuations and physical discomforts that commonly arise during spring.

Located at 825 Chang’an Road, the Center is a sub-center of the community cultural activity center, covering an area of about 600 square meters. With a “1+3+5” core operation model, the Center provides high-quality comprehensive community services for residents and white-collar workers of all age groups in the community. Through an array of activities taking advantage of diverse spaces and schedules, it has successfully created a three-dimensional and attractive new community space. Within the “1+3+5” model, “1” refers to the community’s healthy and nutritious canteen; “3” represents three distinctive sections, each emphasizing a core theme: music governance, parent-child activities, and public benefit for white-collar workers; “5” embodies five regional functional sections designed to add joy, happiness, energy, benefits, and vitality within the community.
