At the site of the opening ceremony, nearly 900 contestants on the two routes called “Sports Jing’an” and “International Jing’an” were in high spirits with a look of excitement on their faces. Some teams were lifting their team flags and taking selfies, some were checking their equipment and items carefully, and others were too excited to wait and couldn’t help warming up. When the gun was fired, the contestants rushed off to the markers by batch. Bao Yingjing, Vice Governor of Jing’an District attended the ceremony and announced the opening of the competition.
It is learned that when constructing the “15-minute sporting life circles”, Jing’an Sports focused on establishing a 3-level competition activity system consisting of international and national branded competition circles, district-level all-people fitness competition circles and characterized sub-districts, towns and communities life circles to actively promote the deep integration of all-people fitness and all-people health. At the opening ceremony of the City Orienteering Challenge, the competition catalog of International Jing’an Urban Area Elite Challenge this year was also unveiled. This time, Jing’an Urban Area Elite Challenge included 33 competition activities that were popular among citizens, including badminton, basketball, table tennis, darts, electronic sports, city orienteering and yoga, encouraged a socialized and commercialized competition model with “diversified main bodies”, agglomerated resources, as well as urged more organs, sub-districts and towns, enterprises and public institutions and social sports organizations to actively organize the competitions.
