The scale of this season’s KIDS WEAR Children’s Wear release had expanded further, bringing 22 new children’s wear releases to give a voice for children’s fashion and show the new design of children’s wear and the new trend of children's fashion in 2019 Spring and Summer. Among them, there were many well-known children’s wear brands at home and abroad such as Balabala, AKCLUB kids, GAP joining in the release. As a professional children’s wear release platform, Shanghai Fashion Week KIDS WEAR Children’s Wear Release not only effectively built a new open space that buyers, media and consumers could participate in, but also provided a platform for the brands to exchange at all levels and interact directly with consumers.
During 2019 Spring-Summer Shanghai Fashion Week, in addition to KIDS WEAR Release, there were also a series of important fashion events presented in Jing’an District, such as SIFS Shanghai Fashion Week International Brand Release, Fashion Weekend, Fashion Forum, and Showroom Shanghai. The reporter learned that this season’s Showroom focused on high-quality design brands. A total of 112 design brands were exhibited, of which overseas brands accounted for 40%, accessories brands reached a percentage of 19%. The “Fashion Weekend”, a large-scale immersive fashion consumption experience event that had been held for four seasons, continued to select Shanghai Exhibition Center as its venue. This season’s Fashion Weekend continued the unique concept of scene experience consumption, with the theme of “Fashion Evolution Declaration”, from the most ancient fashion application to the prospect with the most future color striving to explore the meaning of fashion in a broader context and to form a more creative self-expression. In addition, the Fashion Weekend and the charity organization “Tomorrow Love Fund”, together with Europe’s top architectural design firm, launched the “Love of Home” large-scale art installation to call for paying more attention to the empty nest elderly.
It was reported that the 2019 Spring-Summer Shanghai Fashion Week would be based on the theme of “Personality Declaration”, and include many modules like work releases, trade exhibitions, theme activities and other sections. Covering business, art, public welfare, environmental protection and other fields, a total of nearly 100 theme activities including domestic and international fashion brand press conferences and trade shows would be held. It is committed to depicting the future fashion blueprint for sustainable value innovation, providing more inspiration and integration space for the industry.
The reporter learned from the Jing’an District Commission of Commerce that since 2010, Jing’an District had been a partner of Shanghai Fashion Week, witnessing the growth of Shanghai Fashion Week and the development of Jing’an District’s fashion industry. Relying on the fashion platform of Shanghai Fashion Week, Jing’an District continued to enrich its fashion contents, tap the fashion potential, and focus on the construction of new global product release places surrounding the development goal of the high-end commercial and business district of West Nanjing Road.
