Mo Fuchun, Deputy Director of Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and Chairman of Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, Lu Xiaodong, Secretary of CPC Jing'an District Committee and Chief Executive of Jing’an District Government, Zhou Qi, Vice-chairman of Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, Gu Yunhao, Deputy Secretary of CPC Jing'an District Committee, Song Zhongbei, Secretary General of Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, Ye Jianhua, Deputy Director of Standing Committee of Jing'an District People's Congress and Chairman of Jing'an Federation of Trade Unions, cadre of trade unions of sub-districts, towns, parks and organizations as well as staff of Plaza 66 attended the ceremony.
The reporter learned that, since this year, Jing'an Federation of Trade Unions and Jing'an Bureau of Culture have been carrying out the work of creating "the Most Beautiful Staff Culture Experience Area" in Jing'an District. As one of the first batch of staff culture experience stations unveiled, Plaza 66 will work hard on the distribution of cultural products and the construction of cultural front to realize rich projects, convenient participation, active associations and affordable charging, truly connecting the "last mile" of cultural services, delivering more high-quality culture to parks, buildings and enterprises, and facilitating employees to enjoy cultural services nearby. After the establishment of Plaza 66 Staff Culture Experience Station, Jing'an Federation of Trade Unions will launch various DIY courses including yoga, beauty makeup and handcrafts for employees in Plaza 66 and surrounding areas. At the ceremony, a special video about the construction of "meeting, station and home" in Plaza 66 area of the Nanjing West Road Sub-district Federation of Trade Unions of Jing'an District was played, and the leaders presented the course gift packages to the staff representatives.
After the opening ceremony, the first activity of Plaza 66 Staff Culture Experience Station - Mobile Photography - was held on the spot, where the employees who came to the event listened carefully to the lecturer's explanation of various skills on mobile photography. Reporters saw on the spot that, while enjoying the winning tea and pastries of the "Exquisite Afternoon Tea" labor competition in the warm and comfortable environment offered by the organizers, they photographed the unique tea and pastries with their mobile phones. The participants not only tasted the delicacy, but also learned the photography skills in practical operation. Ms. Gu, a white-collar worker, was pleased to tell reporters how happy she was to take part in such an interesting and fun activity after work, and she hoped that there will be more practical courses available to meet the employees’ different cultural needs in the future.
