To better the transparency of government affairs and the interaction between government and residents, Jing'an District Healthcare Security Bureau recently initiated the Government Open Month event at the Community Healthcare Service Center of Linfen Road Sub-district. By facilitating the application and promotion of electronic certificates for national basic medical insurance, the event aims to raise the awareness of all residents to participate in the basic medical insurance plan and actively respond to their concerns.

Officials at Jing'an District Healthcare Security Bureau attended the event, together with the district medical insurance supervisors, community residents and relevant representatives of insurance companies.

During the event, staff of Jing'an District Medical Insurance Center conducted on-site publicity of hot medical insurance policies such as activating electronic certificates for national basic medical insurance, medical insurance benefits for employees and residents, and binding family members' electronic certificates for national basic medical insurance, and distributed medical insurance brochures. Then, based on their own understanding, residents raised questions about policies, which the staff answered in time.

An official at the Community Healthcare Service Center of Linfen Road Sub-district demonstrated how to use electronic certificates for national basic medical insurance for medical treatment.

Residents said that such an interactive model through face-to-face communication and hands-on guidance addresses the actual needs for medical treatment, helps them get a clearer understanding of medical insurance policies, and truly realizes the service purpose of serving, facilitating and benefiting the people.

Jing'an District Healthcare Security Bureau will learn from the experience of this event and absorb public feedback to actively strengthen the publicity and popularization of medical insurance-related knowledge around the latest hot policies on medical insurance and introduce various people-benefiting policies into more households. By such efforts, they will strive to guarantee the participation of all people in the medical insurance plan, and help the government department better live up to new expectations of the people for the medical insurance work of Jing'an District.
