On the afternoon of June 25, the 36th floor of the Shanghai Skyline Tower in the Suzhou Creek Functional Area was illuminated with dazzling lights as the SUHE ONE CEO-NET (SUHEONE) “Echoes by the Water” Concert took place. This event not only celebrated the first anniversary of the establishment of the SUHEONE but also served as another heartfelt embrace of cultural exchange between China and France.
The concert was strongly supported by the Shanghai International Culture Association, and it was jointly organized by the Suzhou Creek Functional Area and the Colormen Salon. Deng Xiaoxian, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Shanghai International Culture Association, Fu Jun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jing’an District Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor, and Chen Gang, renowned composer and co-founder of the Colormen Salon, attended the event. Approximately 60 representatives from various departments including the Jing’an District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Jing’an District Investment Promotion Office, Suzhou Creek Group, and member enterprises of the SUHEONE participated in the event.
At the beginning of the event, Suzhou Creek Group and member units of the functional area jointly released the “SUHE ONE CEO-NET 2024-2025 Activity List”. This list signifies that SUHEONE will focus on enhancing the influence of industrial activities while prioritizing the transformation of the “INVEST SUHEWAN” and “MEET SUHEWAN” enterprise exchange series activities into intellectual property (IP).
In addition, SUHEONE will launch the “One Good Class” series of sharing activities, which will include the “ESG Roundtable Forum” presented mainly by enterprises and the “Policy Guidelines” presented mainly by government departments, to provide entrepreneurs with a comprehensive learning and exchange platform.
Subsequently, Fu Jun unveiled the plaque for the “SUHEONE Space—Skyline Salon”. Located on the 36th floor of the Shanghai Skyline Tower, the Skyline Salon covers an area of approximately 2,000 square meters. It features a diverse range of spaces including a multifunctional large event area, intelligently equipped conference rooms of various sizes, a podcast room, a Chinese-style tea room, sleeping pods, a library, and a white-collar worker leisure area.
This unveiling signifies the further expansion of the SUHEONE Activity Space and Entrepreneurial Service Base. In the future, the Suzhou Creek Functional Area will make full use of the two SUHEONE Spaces, namely the Suhe Centre and the Skyline Salon, to coordinate regional building and space service resources and harness the advantages of the Suzhou Creek modern service industry cluster, providing fertile ground for nurturing and developing new quality productive forces.
During the concert, French jazz singer Anne Evenou performed alongside pianists Song Siheng and Oleg Roschin, delivering a cross-border musical feast to the audience. As a continuation of the “Our Water—Dialogue Between Two Rivers” series activities, this concert brought the ambiance of the Seine River back to the banks of Suzhou Creek. The audience immersed themselves in the elegant melodies, experiencing the historical changes and beautiful scenery of Suzhou Creek while also enjoying the rich atmosphere of Sino-French cultural exchange.
It is understood that as an important component of the “Huangpu River & Suzhou Creek” development plan in Shanghai and a key area in the development strategy of Jing’an District’s “One Axis and Three Belts”, Suzhou Creek has been committed to creating a “world-class waterfront area” and a “modern service industry cluster”.
SUHEONE was established in June 2023 and is composed of leading domestic and foreign enterprises in the fields of commerce, finance, professional services, technological innovation, cultural creativity, and other industries within the region. It also includes important enterprises that care about and support the development of the Suzhou Creek area. In the past year, SUHEONE has successfully organized 40 major industrial and brand events, involving 880 enterprises and 2,286 entrepreneurs. These events include the “Our Water—Dialogue Between Two Rivers” international economic and cultural exchange series activities, as well as the Suzhou Creek Global Human Resources Service Joint Promotion Event at the China International Import Expo. These activities have effectively facilitated exchanges and cooperation among enterprises from within and outside the region, driving the high-quality development of the Suzhou Creek area.
With the successful conclusion of the concert, the Suzhou Creek Functional Area will continue to integrate resources, collaborate with all parties, and work together to promote the prosperity and development of the regional economy.
