The 11th Shanghai Financial Services Fair for SME was held in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center from June 28 to 30, 2017. Led by Jing’an District Financial Service Office, totally 12 units including functional areas like Shanghai Suhewan Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., Shanghai Daning Asset Management Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Shibei Hi-Tech Co., Ltd., key industrial parks, financial institutions, financial service providers and innovative financial enterprises participated in the fair. Zheng Yang, Director of Shanghai Municipal Financial Service Office, attended the opening ceremony of the fair and paid an inspection visit to the exhibition area of Jing’an District. Zhou Haiying, Deputy District Mayor of Jing’an District People’s Government, queried about the situation of enterprises and conducted in-depth communication with representatives of enterprises. In the course of the fair, enterprises of Jing’an District provided small and medium enterprises (hereinafter referred to as “SMEs”) with various financial information and services, such as introduction to products, explanation of policies and on-site consultation.
With an area of 180 m2, the exhibition area of Jing’an District consisted of three parts, namely financial platform, financial innovation and financial services, with the aim to publicize the development strategy of “one axis and three belts” and development goal of “International Jing’an, A Promised Land”, show the achievements and development orientation of three functional areas of Jing’an District, display the comprehensive superiority and innovation measures of Jing’an District in terms of financial services for real economy and innovation enterprises, integrate the financial industry of Jing’an District into the construction of Shanghai International Finance Centre and Shanghai Technology Innovation Center and make the financial industry serve the innovative enterprises and SMEs better.
The fair was held to establish a platform for achieving full communication between SMEs and various financial institutions like banks, micro-loan companies and professional service companies to solve the problem of difficult and expensive financing of SMEs, promote the communication between micro-loan industry and guarantee industry, improve the quality of service and management and vigorously boost the integration of finance and real economy. Numerous high-end forums were held during the fair, focusing on national industrial policies, economic and social development trend and hot issue of financial services for real economy.
It is learned that in recent years, the financial industry of Jing’an District shows a favorable developing status. Financial institutions of Jing’an District cover fields like securities, futures, bank, insurance, fund, finance companies and equity investment, providing rich financial resources and financing channels for the development of SMEs.
