On July 23, China Post Group Corporation issued a commemorative stamp for the centenary of the first CPC Constitution. On that day, local citizens flocked to China Post outlets to buy this commemorative stamp.
Before 8:00 a.m., a queue of over 10 citizens was seen in front of the closed door of the outlet at Shimen Road Number Two.
The headmost Ms. Chen took turns to queue up with her friends from yesterday morning and have a rest in a nearby hotel guest room. They just wanted to get this commemorative stamp as soon as possible. “The centenary of the first CPC Constitution is a milestone in the Party’s history, so this stamp is the one that I must collect.”
At half past eight, the outlet opened on time. Chen was the first to enter the outlet. Passing the inspection from a digital sentinel, she walked over to the stamp counter and paid for the stamp. She thought it was worth lining up so long as she got the stamp and the first-day envelope. “Most of these philatelic items will be delivered to my relatives and friends across the country and even in Australia and Japan. I hope we can lay the Party’s development to heart and be proud of our great Party.”
The commemorative stamp is worth RMB 1.20 in nominal value. From July 23, this stamp will be available for purchase for six months at the designated China Post outlets, on China Post’s stamp collecting website (https://jiyou.11185.cn), China Post’s mobile APP, and WeChat applets including China Post Micro Office Stamp Collecting WeChat Mall and China Post Mall.
