According to sources from the Baoshan Road Sub-district, a new primary school will open in the district soon, to steadily promote the balanced and high-quality development of the district's basic education resources. The school will be located in Block 325, Unit C070202, Zhongxing Community, with a total construction area of approximately 21,000 square meters. It is planned to accommodate 30 classes and is set to introduce the quality educational resources of Shanghai the First Central Primary School of Jing'an District.

It is reported that the design of the school is led by Li Xinggang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the renowned architect behind the Bird's Nest design for the Beijing Olympic Games. The goal is to create a high-standard, green, and eco-friendly campus.

The project is scheduled to commence construction on June 30, 2025, and be completed by April 30, 2027.
