As the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) is approaching, a growing number of exhibitors are arriving in Shanghai. In response, Shanghai Railway Station has made meticulous efforts to provide transportation support during the CIIE and create a vibrant atmosphere for the expo.

To enhance passenger service during the CIIE, Shanghai Railway Station has set up a special CIIE service area at the ticket office. This area features a dedicated ticketing service window, a service center, and a luggage check-in service window. Additionally, the station has upgraded its POS machine payment terminals, expanding the acceptance of overseas bank card payments. The newly designed Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station Service Manual for CIIE is available in both Chinese and English. It includes seven sections, including station facilities, guidance for special areas, "quality" services, and an introduction to the CIIE, providing Chinese and foreign passengers with a more intuitive understanding of the station environment.

More guiding signs have been set up at the 12306 meeting point for passengers with special needs and the baby care room in the station's waiting area. Over 200 "Little Sweet Orange" college volunteers have been recruited to provide passengers with essential services such as greeting and seeing-off and convenient waiting services.

"We have proactively organized special training for CIIE service specialists on service presentation, business English, reception etiquette, and passenger transport services, aiming to enhance the travel experience for our passengers," said Liu Haoxiang, Secretary of the General Party Branch of Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station.

Additionally, Shanghai Railway Station has thoroughly cleaned the facades of station buildings across various station areas to provide a pleasant travel environment for passengers. In the waiting area, the station has set up a themed landscape featuring the CIIE mascot "Jinbao", adorned with posters and table cards welcoming the CIIE. Promotional videos and slogans of the CIIE are displayed on the external display screen, fostering an invigorating atmosphere for the expo.

The CIIE shuttle buses, which have been in operation for six consecutive years at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, continue to serve this year's expo. Participating passengers and relevant staff can directly take them free of charge to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) by presenting relevant certificates.
