At this year's CIIE, at Hall 8.2 for Trade in Services of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), global freight forwarding giant Kuehne+Nagel actively supports China's policy direction of promoting new quality productive forces, offering stable, efficient, and sustainable logistics support.
Established in 1890, Kuehne+Nagel, headquartered in Switzerland, is one of the world's largest freight forwarding companies and the largest Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) globally. The company offers high-value comprehensive logistics services worldwide, specializing in sea freight, air freight, and third-party logistics, with over 1,000 branches in 100+ countries and regions.
According to the introduction, as a leading global logistics enterprise, Kuehne+Nagel has been closely intertwined with the development of China's foreign trade economy for nearly half a century. Since the inaugural CIIE in 2018, it has been one of the foreign enterprises that have participated in every session. This year, focusing on forging supply chain resilience, empowering digital ecosystems, and accelerating green low-carbon transformation collaboratively, Kuehne+Nagel is committed to providing stable, efficient, and sustainable logistics support for the thriving development of new quality productive forces.
At the Kuehne+Nagel booth, the reporter observed the pervasive design ingenuity of the "Logistics Zero" concept. Large lightbox posters, complemented by wooden pallets, aviation straps, aircraft portholes, mooring posts, and ropes, showcased its core business charm. Mobile devices on-site provided detailed information on enterprise solutions while offering live demonstrations of the myKN digital platform, covering the entire process including exploring, quoting, booking, tracking, and controlling operations. The "deck" negotiation area provided a space for global enterprises to engage further with Kuehne+Nagel's industry logistics experts.
"For seven consecutive years, we have never missed the CIIE because it is a platform that allows us to interact with the government and various market players, showcasing our company's strengths. In addition, since our establishment in the Jing'an Sibei High-Tech Functional Zone in 2019, we have received meticulous care and steward-like service from the district governments of Jing'an and Shibei. It is a very positive experience," said Ni Xiaorong, President of Greater China, Kuehne+Nagel in an interview.
