On November 7, at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), SYR signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Bachu County Education Bureau in the Kashgar Prefecture of Xinjiang. They will engage in deep cooperation across various dimensions such as technological innovation, resource sharing, and market development to effectively integrate and complement their respective advantages.
Lin Yansong, Deputy Commander of the Bachu Division of the Shanghai Pairing Assistance Forward Command in Xinjiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Bachu County Committee, and Deputy County Mayor of Bachu County, along with Wang Titi, Head of the vocational and adult education office of Bachu County, and Lou Zhengmin, President of the Shanghai Jing'an District Association of Foreign Investment, attended the signing ceremony.
As a leader in the water treatment industry, SYR will leverage its cutting-edge technological power and extensive industry experience to enhance water quality in Bachu County and optimize the educational environment. This effort aims to inject strong momentum into the vibrant development of local education while supporting the upgrading and transformation of local industries and consumption patterns.
Founded in 1939 in Germany, SYR specializes in water treatment equipment, safety valves, pollution barriers, pressure-reducing valves, HVAC valves, and more. Since entering China in 1998, SYR has primarily focused on civilian products. In 2014, SYR incorporated in Jing'an District, Shanghai, its sixth global branch, SYR Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Since 2018, SYR has participated in the CIIE for seven consecutive sessions.

It is reported that the project with Bachu County in the Kashgar Prefecture of Xinjiang started in December 2023. Through a recommendation from an official of pairing assistance in Xinjiang from Jing'an District, Shanghai, SYR established a communication mechanism in the field of vocational education with Bachu County. After rounds of discussions, the two parties reached their first cooperation agreement.
SYR has decided to donate a batch of water treatment products to the region and contribute its share to improve the local water quality, enhance school environments, and upgrade practical base equipment. Additionally, the company will elevate students' practical skills through technical training. It also plans to provide employment opportunities at its production bases in China annually for some outstanding graduates from local schools, aiming to contribute its share to targeted area for industrial advancement in a long-term manner.
