The center now sets up several areas such as the Xinxin Service Station, Party Organization Activity Room, Sub-district Committee, Grid Party Building Meeting Room, Children's Reading Room, Lohas Space, and Community Canteen. The third grid for the center is the Lingshi Vitality Grid. It comprises three residential areas, 24 building parks, and 18 co-building units. The grid also has 1,974 "enterprises of two types of ownership and three new economic forms" (including 160 roadside shops), 36 Party branches of these enterprises, 12 Party members of the newly established Lingshi Vitality Block Party Branch, 509 Party members of residential quarters, 380 Party members of building parks, and 17 mobile Party members.
On the first floor of the center, the Xinxin Service Station serves as a rest station for couriers and outdoor workers. It is equipped with facilities such as first aid kits, umbrellas, sewing kits, reading glasses for seniors, and AEDs to protect the health and safety of community residents. The station is also equipped with Ximalaya listening and reading devices available to the workers at any time. Additionally, the station has posted the application process for joining the Party and publicized the contact information of the community Party branch. This makes it more convenient for these workers to locate and connect with the Party organization.
On the second floor, the center has established functional areas such as the Resident Reading Area, Children's Reading Room, Ideological and Political Book Corner, Grid Party Building Meeting Room, and Party Organization Activity Room. The Resident Reading Area comprises areas for revolutionary books, life and health, social literature, teenagers' books, fiction, and children's books. Each area creates a small space and maintains relative independence.
The Pioneer Exhibition Area displays the exemplary deeds of pioneering Party members from various sectors within its jurisdiction. They are not only outstanding workers in their fields but also serve as lecturers at sub-district community Party schools and grassroots governance academies to share their insights with residents.
The Children's Reading Room is designed with three functional areas: "Book Drifting", "Reading", and "Puzzle Leisure". These areas provide children visiting the center with an independent, safe, comfortable, and sweet space dedicated to reading and relaxation. This space has gained great popularity and has become a must-visit destination for families with babies and young children in the neighborhood.
The Grid Party Building Meeting Room primarily displays the basic introduction to the third grid, its staff, its working mechanisms, and the process and outcomes of consultation and discussion on the wall.
The Party Organization Activity Room primarily showcases the walking Party lectures, high-quality Party lectures, Party branches' achievements, Party branch diaries, Party branch schedules, the "three meetings and one lesson" system, and the process of organization activities.
In addition, the activity hall that can accommodate 40-50 people often holds themed activities regarding traditional cultural experiences, dance, and yoga.
On the third floor, the Lohas Space, popular among elderly residents, is open to the public free of charge, offering exclusive, individualized electronic health records for seniors. The elderly in the community can enjoy free "one-stop" sports and health services, such as physical health monitoring, digital record creation, sports rehabilitation training, and exercise intervention for chronic disease. Additionally, by providing "exercise prescriptions", the staff in the space can assist the elderly in developing personalized exercise rehabilitation plans. This can help them prevent and slow the onset and progression of chronic diseases, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.
Activities such as dancing, singing, and yoga can be carried out in the dance room. Additionally, children's drama rehearsals and Taekwondo teaching are also held here on weekends.
At the Community Health Service Center, the Jing'an Prime Land Practice Place has been built into a demonstration Community Health Service Station with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) characteristics in Shanghai. By integrating the characteristics of modern rehabilitation medicine, it offers targeted comprehensive TCM treatments such as acupuncture, massage, and acupoint injection for residents to effectively relieve their symptoms and promote recovery. The center facilitates a two-way linkage and connection between elderly care services and medical and health resources. It is also the first health station in Daning to set up a studio for renowned TCM doctors, namely Lu's Acupuncture Studio.
This year, the Daning Road Sub-district has prioritized the development of the "15-minute Community Life Circle" by continuously enhancing the meal service system on residents' doorstep. A new multifunctional community canteen with a total area of 500 square meters has been built on the fourth floor of the Western Party-mass Service Center. It is equipped with a central kitchen and can accommodate 80 diners simultaneously after opening to the public. It offers a variety of flavorful dishes along with high-quality, attentive service for residents and addresses the shortage of dining resources in the northern area of Wenshui Road, delivering more convenience to nearby residents.
The Shared Fitness Room in the community supporting space is equipped with aerobic equipment and various types of free strength training equipment such as dumbbell sets to meet the daily fitness needs of surrounding residents and white-collar workers. Residents simply need to scan the QR code with their mobile phones to access the facility and enjoy fitness at a rate of RMB 2 per hour to the least.
