On June 18, the CPPCC Jing'an District Committee held a meeting with political parties and organizations on participation in and deliberation of state affairs. Ding Baoding, Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and Chairman of the CPPCC Jing'an District Committee, attended and addressed the meeting. The meeting was chaired by GU Dingyun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jing'an District Committee, Head of the United Front Work Department, and Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group of the CPPCC Jing'an District Committee. Participants included Song Dajie, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Jing'an District Committee, and Chen Qihua, Member of the Leading Party Members Group and Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Jing'an District Committee.
Ding Baoding noted that since the beginning of this year, under the leadership of the CPC Jing'an District Committee, all political parties and organizations have prioritized development, delivered tangible results in public services, and enhanced collaboration, contributing to the CPPCC Jing'an District Committee's successful completion of its first-half tasks this year. On behalf of the Leading Party Members Group of the CPPCC Jing'an District Committee, he extended sincere appreciation to all political parties and organizations for their steadfast support of the Committee's work.
Ding Baoding stressed that this year marks the conclusion of Jing'an's 14th Five-Year Plan and the drafting phase of the 15th Five-Year Plan. All political parties and organizations should enhance theoretical preparedness, demonstrate political commitment at a higher level, focus on central tasks to effectively serve broader objectives, and strengthen communication and collaboration to jointly advance governance performance. These efforts will help Jing'an District build consensus, pool wisdom, and mobilize strengths in creating a model for modern urban areas under Chinese modernization.
The meeting noted that this year marks the planning phase for Jing'an District's 15th Five-Year Plan. All political parties and organizations should thoroughly implement the meeting's guiding principles, align with annual targets and timelines, proactively plan for second-half priorities, and lay solid groundwork for successful annual completion, so as to drive Jing'an's high-quality social and economic development through concrete actions.
Song Dajie and Chen Qihua discussed their respective areas of responsibility, covering first-half initiatives including research projects, proposal processing, member training, public sentiment reporting, as well as committee workstations, sector-specific offices, and public service duties.
The meeting outlined the work plan for the CPPCC Jing'an District Committee's mid-year "mini-plenary session". Representatives from district-level democratic parties and the Shanghai Jing’an District Federation of Industry and Commerce delivered remarks.
