On September 15, Jing'an District held a UHD Audiovisual Industry Promotion Conference in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Since its inception, IBC has grown into one of the most influential gatherings in the industry. During the conference, the Science and Technology Commission of Jing'an District provided a detailed overview of the development and environmental support for the regional UHD audiovisual industry. Relevant officials stated that Jing'an District is fully committed to building a UHD audiovisual industry cluster. With an open attitude, strong innovation momentum, abundant industrial space, a high-quality business environment, and a uniquely attractive urban character, Jing'an has already attracted a large number of leading enterprises in the industry and gathered over 160 enterprises from across the industry chain.
To advance the R&D and industrialization of UHD technology, Jing'an District has partnered with Shanghai University to establish the "Future Ultra-High Definition Technologies International Innovation Center, aimed at driving technological breakthroughs and facilitating industry-university-research institute transformation. Focusing on both the development of cutting-edge UHD technologies and innovative applications, Jing'an has created two core industry platforms — "Meta Space" and "π Space" — to help establish the district as a leading hub in the UHD audiovisual field. Besides, Jing'an is actively exploring innovation in UHD-related technical standards by building standardized public platforms to promote technology transfer and practical applications. Through ongoing optimization of the policy environment and improvements in living and working space facilities, Jing'an is striving to attract more high-end talent and teams from within China and abroad.
