Passing on the century-old legacy, traditional costumes carry our original aspiration; a long gown holds profound sentiments, and every step reminds us of the extraordinary years. Recently, a delegation from the Shanghai Computer Industry Association, dressed in traditional Chinese attire, visited the Revolutionary Classroom in Baoshan Road Sub-district to embark on an immersive red-themed journey. Connecting through traditional costumes to honor a century-old promise, they traced the awakening era through a City Walk and inherited the red legacy via immersive experiences.

With elegant long gowns for men and graceful cheongsams for women, the Party members recreated the sincere image of progressive youths a century ago—patriotic, idealistic, and passionate. The profound red memories became tangible and vivid as the traditional costumes fluttered.

Following the footsteps of pioneers, they visited Huzhou Guild Hall, a site bearing century-old memories of the workers’ movement. As the headquarters of the Third Armed Uprising of Shanghai Workers, it is decorated with black bricks and tiles that embody the weight of history, while historical exhibition walls and copper engravings silently recount the century-long vicissitudes of the workers' movement. Walking through the site to trace red history, they paid tribute to the revolutionary pioneers who fought for national salvation a century ago in their splendid traditional costumes, completing a spiritual dialogue across time and space.

During the exchanges, the Shanghai Computer Industry Association shared ideas on the integration of Party building with industrial development, AI applications, and the fusion of red culture and industry. The delegation noted that the Revolutionary Classroom Party lecture in Baoshan Road Sub-district has deepened their understanding of the sub-district's rich red heritage, inspiring new thinking. They expressed hope to introduce AI services based on the Party building platform, deepen regional cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta, and continuously promote the two-way empowerment and mutual progress of red culture and industrial development.

Lv Fang, curator of the Red Tailor Long Gown Culture Exhibition Hall and a participant in the event, stated that this immersive cultural tour takes costumes as the medium and spaces as the stage, allowing everyone to travel through time to touch history and reflect on their original aspiration. The red heritage of Baoshan Road and the glorious awakening of the Federation of Trade Unions of Shanghai have been revitalized through the experience, making every participant a witness to the road to awakening and injecting new vitality into the red legacy in the new era.

A set of traditional Chinese costumes carries the roots of our culture; a road to awakening inherits the power of faith. This event deeply integrates traditional costume culture with the inheritance of the red legacy, showcasing the cultural charm of Chinese traditional attire and making the red spirit deeply rooted in people's hearts through immersive experiences. Going forward, the lectures of the Road to Awakening: Revolutionary Baoshan Road City Bus and City Walk Mobile Revolutionary Classroom in Baoshan Road Sub-district will always focus on the integrated innovation of "Red +". It will bring the red legacy from history to the present, guiding every participant to reflect on their original aspiration through walking and pass on the legacy through experiences. It will ensure the century-old red sites endure through innovative expressions and keep the power of faith alive from generation to generation.
