Recently, the UHD World Association (UWA) and Shanghai Daning Asset Management (Group) Co., Ltd. co-hosted an event themed "Breaking Boundaries, Unlocking New Gaming Ecosystem" at "Audiovisual Realm of Jing'an · π Space" in the Shanghai UHD Audiovisual Industrial Cluster. Seizing this opportunity, Daning Group collaborated with the UWA's AItoH Special Group to bridge ultra-high definition (UHD), AI, and cloud-network technologies with the gaming industry. According to Wang Yue, head of "Audiovisual Realm of Jing'an · π Space," as part of the Shanghai UHD Audiovisual Industrial Cluster, π Space focuses on AI-powered audiovisual content creation and full-chain empowerment. It is actively building an innovative ecosystem for the gaming industry, providing one-stop services for game development, interactive film games, cloud gaming, and AI-generated content (AIGC) creation, serving as a quality platform for game companies to establish, grow, and expand.
At the event, Gong Qian (head of the UWA's AItoH Special Group) and Jin Ruifeng (Technical Ecology Director) gave presentations on the widespread adoption of HDR Vivid/Audio Vivid technical standards across multiple scenarios. UWA is also actively developing an AI+UHD business system and implementing AI2H home large-screen applications to provide core technical support for enhancing the gaming audiovisual experience.
Representatives from XD Inc., Zhongjing Chuanglian, Bingte Technology, Huawei, and other companies shared insights on cutting-edge practices such as high-quality gaming ecosystems, interactive film game innovations, cloud gaming shallow compression solutions, and 3D gaming technology applications, showcasing both technical depth and industrial value.
During the business discussion session, participating companies held in-depth exchanges on technology adaptation, content co-creation, and ecosystem cooperation. They explored implementation pathways for UHD audiovisual technology in home large-screen gaming, cloud gaming, and immersive interactive film games, and reached preliminary consensus on multiple cooperation initiatives.
Finally, the event launched a gaming experience enhancement initiative aimed at multi-dimensional quality upgrades. The initiative focuses on leveraging HDR Vivid/Audio Vivid standards to deeply integrate with the gaming industry chain, continuously optimizing UHD visual quality and immersive spatial audio, creating stereoscopic 3D visual experiences for e-sports live streaming audiences and selecting high-quality game genres suitable for family scenarios to enrich large-screen home gaming content.
