Liu Xie, female, born in February 1970, Han Chinese from Xunxian County of Henan Province and a member of the Communist Party of China. She started her career in July 1998. She is a full-time graduate and holds a doctorate of laws. She currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jing'an District Committee and Deputy District Mayor of Jing'an District.

She once served as the Director of the Research Office of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shanghai Municipality, Deputy Director of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shanghai Municipality, Deputy District Mayor of Zhabei District and a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhabei District Committee.
